Please confirm your acceptance of the following conditions before downloading data.

Within the VME dataset,available at http://vme.ices.dk , data are classified as either public or restricted.

Public data follow the ICES Data policy, restricted data may be available on request according to the procedure described below.

Public Data

1. Correct and appropriate data interpretation is solely the responsibility of data users.

2. Data Users must not expressly or otherwise imply ICES substantiation of their work, results, conclusions and/or recommendations. 3. Data sources must be duly acknowledged.

4. Data Users must respect any and all restrictions on the use or reproduction of data, such as restrictions on use for commercial purposes.

5. Data Users are obliged to inform ICES of any suspected problems in the data.

6. Data Users are encouraged to inform ICES of possible sources of other relevant data.

Restricted Data

Some data within the ICES VME Database may be classified as restricted as determined by the data provider (see ICES VME Data call on link) http://www.ices.dk/data/Documents/Data_calls/20150610_VME_datacall_2015_2.pdf

Data users should note:
1. Only high level metadata for restricted records are available for download

2. Where available, the Responsible Organisation and Point of Contact is provided for each record, to enable the Data User to make a request direct to the Point of Contact.
